Brass dial wall clock, 1766-1780.

Mahogany wall clock. Top section with a molded cornice, a pierced and scrolled crest, two brass urn-and-spire finials, a scrolled skirt, pierced spandrels, chamfered front corners, and a glazed door with a bell-shaped opening outlined by narrow pierced fretwork. Bottom sections with cove and ovolo molded cornice, chamfered front corners, and cove and ovolo molding at the bottom. Engraved brass dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, an elaborate moon phase dial, engraved ornament and the inscription "Simon Willard Grafton." Thirty hour movement.
